Sardinia: this special
island is worldwide known for its sea of emerald color, its
landscapes rich in contrasts and for its peculiarities. In the south
of the island tourists will find a hidden corner of paradise which
is still unspoiled: the Coast of the South. In Cagliari, the capital
of southern province of Sardinia, we can find visible signals of
Phoenician, Roman, Byzantine and Spanish dominations and they

embroidery, precious decorated pottery, precious jewels of art
goldsmith, baskets of rush, mats, blankets and tapestries, costumes
typical. For lovers of history, Sardinia represents also a wonderful
archaeological heritage to discover. Moreover, theatrical events,
remaking historical-cultural (The Marriage Mauritanian, The Festival
of St. Efisio) and music festivals are offered. The variety of
sports is also rich: surfing, windsurfing, golf, horseback riding,
hiking, tennis, swimming and diving. Several locations are to visit:
the island of San Pietro with the typical small town of Carloforte,
which were founded by the Genoese populations whose dialect, crafts
and traditions are still preserved. Do not miss the tour around the
island by boat to admire the gorges and hidden beaches. Visit the
Punic necropolis of Nora, which is located directly on the sea, the
Cave of Is Zuddas, where the water created wonderful architecture of
stalactites and stalagmites over the millenia, the white beaches of
