COURSES:

Canoeing: The variety of the coast, with its inlets and little beaches is the ideal environment for the practice of this activity in full contact with nature, which ensures a healthy and balanced use of the body. The lessons alternate exercises, competitions and games; through several excursions the children will enjoy the beauty of the coast. Some theory about the history of this sport and about the safety norms will also be provided.
Diving: After getting confident with the equipment and acclimatising in water through various activities, children will experience an immersion in confined water. There will also be two immersions in open sea with snorkelling equipment and short breath-held diving. On request it is also possible to get the open-water diploma (to be extra paid). The equipment will be given by the organisation.
Sailing: The courses are organised weekly and in different levels, in collaboration with the “Lega Navale di Porto Pino”. The programme starts with an initiatory step: sailing vocabulary, equipment, knots and basic manoeuvres; and continues with more practice on board.
Seven-a-side football:
The children will improve their technical and tactical skills through team work according to age, level and experience. Every excercise will be done using balls and following the most advanced football theories.
Swimming: Through various activities of water acclimatisation the beginners will be able to learn the breathing techniques and the main styles. For those who can already swim, the aim will be to improve their movements and skills. The course will be held at the residence swimming pool.
Tennis:
There will be courses of different levels:
- Beginners: the aim is to get confidence with the tennis court, learn the general skills, the basic strokes and the knock-up.
- Advanced: the aim is to improve the technical and tactical skills, the basic and special strokes.
- Agonistic: the aim is to improve the game condition, rhythm, aggressiveness and strategy.
Windsurf: Special equipment will be used to suit the age, weight and musculature of children. The course starts from the theory (study of the materials, how to start, surfing abeam, veering, safety rules) and continues with the practice of the main surfing skills.

Note: Some of the courses won’t be activated if the minimum number of participants won’t be reached.
